Midpost of Ch. #109 Simply Create Too Blog Challenge - Thank You

I was so lucky that the following card was easy to make. I had been working through On-line Card Classes class "Clear and Sheer" and had my array of patterned vellum across the table. I also had some lengths of quilling paper from a commission for Practical Publishing on hand. What was better than to bring the two together?

I added some MFT cutting dies, Wonky Rectangles and Many Thanks; metallic embroidery thread, cream pearls and some Nuvo Mother of Pearl Embellishment Mousse (rubbed over a piece of scrap watercoloured cardstock) for the sentiment die cut.

The vellum is gorgeous with its gold printed design and I only attached it in the centre underneath where the wonky rectangle would sit.

Because the embellishment mousse was rubbed over a piece of cardstock that had been coloured with Lemon Yellow and Alizarin Crimson Color Bursts, it produced a lovely salmony colour, which matched well with the flower centres.

Quick, easy yet fresh! A great combination of parts.   :)

Anyway, check out what else was created for the "Thank You" theme on Simply Create Too Blog Challenge here. Join along with the fun.

Bye for now,
Love
Janelle
